About Performing Herts
Performing Herts was launched in 2011 providing before and after school performance classes. By providing affordable dance, drama and musical theatre classes, we aim to make our lessons accessible to everyone, giving all children the opportunity to shine.
All our staff have DBS checks and are first aid trained.
What we believe
At Performing Herts we believe that all children are creative and eager to learn, when given the right opportunities. We pride ourselves on building your child’s self-belief, while promoting personal and social development. Not only will your child have fun at our classes, but they will enjoy the real benefits like greater confidence, improved concentration and an increased awareness of what they can achieve.
Classes
Classes take place in the after school hours on a weekday and operate within the academic term time for the schools in the local area.
Our classes are fun, yet taught in a disciplined way and are designed to build confidence, both individually and socially. We offer a number of different classes including drama, dance, cheer and singing. Each term we also run various external workshop led by highly qualified tutors who have a passion for the stage, backed up with professional performing arts degrees or diploma’s.
Progress
All classes at Performing Herts are geared towards our annual showcase and presentations. These are wonderful opportunities to observe the skills your child has gained throughtout the year and for you to see their growth and development.
LAMDA
From September 2019 Performing Herts will be running LAMDA classes. These are private acting lessons working on monologues/poems towards an end of year exams. LAMDA lessons are a fantastic way for children to work on building confidence, characterization, projection, diction and exam practice. More details to be going out soon
